Lake Granbury master gardeners are passionate about plants and educating the public
The Texas Master Gardener program is an educational volunteer program conducted by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M University System. Lake Granbury Master Gardeners are residents of Hood County who take an active interest in our lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers and gardens. We are a group who loves learning and sharing our knowledge about all things horticultural. Master Gardeners go through intensive training in horticulture before being certified as a Master Gardener, as well as attending continuing education classes every year. After training, Master Gardeners volunteer their time and efforts through the Hood County Texas AgriLife Extension Service.
